I make this for breakfast often- and usually pair it with and egg or two. It's quick, tasty & healthy!
What You'll Need:
Bread, 1 slice (or 2!) of your favorite
Fresh Ground Almond Butter (check out your local farmer's market for this), 1 T
Kiwi, 1
Blackberries, 5
Local Clover Honey, 1/2 T
Leslie's Dietitian Kitchen Tip: The best bread to eat as far as blood sugar goes (yes- even if you don't have Diabetes) is Sourdough, Rye, Pumpernickel-and if you're going for Whole Wheat- buy a fiber dense kind like the one shown above. By bread local or experiment making your own!
